You Need A Keyword.
In order to publish mobile content using the TextCo system, you need to have a KEYWORD. This is the word that cell phone users are required to text to a designated short code number in order to receive your (and your advertisers') messages.
How To Choose Your Keyword.
TextCo uses the domain-name system of the Internet to activate keywords for Resellers. For your "KEYWORD", you can use any DOMAIN NAME (either Com, Net, or Org) that is registered to you and that you register with the SMS Reselling Account.
15 CHARACTERS OR LESS
Keep in mind that the shorter your keyword, the easier it is to type using a mobile phone keypad. We recommend that you keep your keyword to 15 characters or less.
- You can use both letters and numbers.
- No spaces and no punctuation marks.
- Both CAPS and lower case are OK.
USE AN EXISTING DOMAIN NAME
If you already own a domain name, even if it is currently being used for an active website, you can use your domain name as your keyword for your mobile advertising service. We will add the Mobile Services to your existing website.
USE A DIFFERENT DOMAIN NAME
If you don't want to mix your current website files with your mobile advertising service, you can register another domain name and use the name exclusively as your keyword. If you decide to register a new domain name for your keyword, you have the option to have us host it for you - at no extra charge.
NO DOMAIN NAME? NO PROBLEM

IF WE HOST YOUR DOMAIN NAME

SMS RESELLER BACK OFFICE
As a Reseller, you will receive a login and password that will give you access to your Reseller Back Office, which will enable you to perform the following tasks:
- Edit or update your Reseller message* any time you want.
- Activate new advertisers with their individual unique Ad Names
- Manage all your clients from one screen.
MOBILE ADVERTISER INTERFACE
Each new Advertiser that you create will also receive a login and password to access to their individual Advertiser Interface, which will enable them to edit/update their ad messages and create marketing campaigns. * Reseller Bounce Message. This is your own 160-character text message that people receive when they text your keyword (with no other words added to it) to your designated short code number.
